True to its promise, Netflix has just released the first official trailer for Avatar: The Last Airbender, which will arrive in 2024.
The first video is as epic as fans would expect with the main characters stealing the show. The premiere is set for February 22!
The four nations of the world once lived in harmony when the Avatar, ruler of the four elements, kept peace among them. But everything changed when the Fire Nation launched an attack and exterminated the Air Benders. Which was the first step for the fire fighters to conquer the world.
Avatar: The Last Airbender follows a young Air Bender, Aang, as he wakes up in a war-torn world. Along with his new friends, Sokka and Katara, he embarks on an action-packed mission to take his rightful place as the next AVATAR.

The live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series will retell the story of Aang, the Avatar and last survivor of the Air Benders, who must learn to control the other three elements of water, earth and fire to stop the war being waged by the Fire Nation. He will be joined by Katara and Sokka. Siblings from the Southern Water Tribe, who will help him on his journey.
The Netflix series starred Gordon Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka and Dallas Liu as Zuko.
The live-action series is being directed by Albert Kim, who is also showrunner and executive producer. He is joined by executive producers Dan Lin, Lindsey Liberatore and Michael Goi. The original creators of the animated series, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, are not involved with the project.
