Diablo IV is an action role playing game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment and is the fourth installment in the Diablo series. I am a big fan of the Franchise, and I can still remember when Diablo 3 came out and I was eagerly waiting to play that game which was amazing. Finally, the next game came out after almost a decade since Diablo 3`s release in 2012
So the big question remains should you buy the game and is it worth the price. Let’s analyze everything below.

Story
Before I say anything about the story, if you are a new player and are interested in the story but don’t want to spend a lot of time searching for videos or an older player in need of a short reminder, I will direct you to the You tube Channel Diablo. There you will find the four episodes called Diablo IV Book of Lorath. These 4 episodes do a great job of giving you a little story introduction and set up the world in which you are going to discover. I Highly recommend watching these videos that I have watched as well and they are amazing.
Diablo IV`s Story follows the player that is trying to save Humanity from the Evil that is plaguing Sanctuary. It will introduce you to Lilith, the main Vilain of the Story that you are trying to stop. Friendships and a lot of characters will be introduced inside the game that are extremely well done. This in combination with the amazing cinematics the game has, it turns out to be a memorable experience.
The Story in my opinion is very well done and it is extremely easy to follow as well. I did not have any moments where I had any complaints. If you are someone that cares about the story, worry not, it is solid. Or even if you don’t care a lot about it, it will still amaze you. After you complete the story on one of your characters you can also skip it as well.
DIablo IV Gameplay
So, how is the gameplay, what are the classes, items and fashion.
Diablo IV lets you pick from 5 classes. Barbarian, Necromancer, Sorceress, Rogue and Druid. All the classes in my opinion are well done and play into the Fantasy of them extremely well.
You want to turn into a Bear and wreak havoc? druid is for you!
If you want to throw big flashy spells you can play the sorceress.
If you want to be an unkillable tank Barbarian is the Class for you.
Rogue, stealth traps, bows, daggers it has everything that you could wish to play with.
And of course, the Necromancer raises enemies and fights with them the demons that you will face.
All the Classes have a specialty skill that you unlock at some point in the game. Personally, that made the character and the Class feel even more unique than what it already was and allows you to further build into the class and the fantasy overall. One thing worth mentioning is that the Specialty for the Classes is unique and has a little story behind it as well. Doesn’t make it boring whatsoever.

Map and the World of Diablo IV
The Map in Diablo is massive. There are unique enemies in every area and every area is carefully designed to give you an amazing experience. Every Region has a few teleport points that you can unlock and travel to with their own merchants and side quests marked with blue. There are also a lot of activities to do in every area. Don’t forget to do them as they give you renown for the certain area. Do enough and you get rewards for them. Remember to pick them up, they help a lot. There are Strongholds, dungeons, and events. Plenty of stuff there.
Speaking of the side quests, do not miss them because they can give you a lot of XP and a decent amount of materials at the start. They are also not repetitive story wise. The story for every side quest feels unique. At some point they do become repetitive as you are doing the same thing repeatedly. But do not let that discourage you at all. If you are a min maxer the game will feel a bit repetitive because it is built around the player that has a few hours to spend on the game. It is still a memorable experience nonetheless.
Class skills
Diablos Perk tree can feel a little bit daring at the start but it is very learnable as you go through. Even after you reach level 50 and unlock the Paragon tree you can get used to it given a little bit of time. Every perk in the classes feels proper for it. There is no one build you can make the developers pay attention to and make sure that you have a lot of options. You can refund your perk point any time you want for a little bit of gold and invest them somewhere else. Drag your spells to where you want them and you are good to go.
Fashion
Fashion is really important in any game and Diablo makes sure to provide. Do you have an armor piece that looks really well and you want to wear it constantly? You can do that. If you go to the blacksmith and salvage the specific piece you can unlock it in the wardrobe. You go to the Wardrobe symbol on the map and there you will find everything. The shop offers the ability to get even more items for your characters but that is not necessary either if you don’t want to spend the money. All the items are carefully made for all the classes. They feel unique and most importantly they fit the Fantasy.
Should you Buy it?
YES!
I can’t recommend Diablo IV enough. There is something for everyone in this game and the world, the gameplay, the fashion feel and are amazing. Nothing is done in a lazy or sloppy manner and Diablo IV set an example for both it`s genre and overall. Even though the price tag for some can be a little bit endearing it is worth it.
Finally remember Diablo IV does have a season pass and will have another expansion as it is going the live service route.
