Me and Chris are very excited for the Flash movie! It is such an important step for DC and the DC Universe! Setting the ground for the next chapters with the new CEO James Gunn. Resetting the old Universe.
Some Review have been released and a score in the Rotten Tomatoes website. Does the score represent the movies hype and quality?
The Score
The Flash sits at 73% on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing with 78 reviews! A solid score but not impressive. Although it’s very early to make conclusions. It gives us an approximate image of how it might perform and how critics received the movie. Usually the score doesn’t really change after the release of the movie. What we can estimate from the movie’s score is that we will get a solid movie. That delivers a good transition point from the Snyderverse to James Gunn’s DCU
It will have everything start from the beginning again. Hopefully this time Gunn’s vision for the DCU comes to fruition without any complication that the Snyderverse had. What we also can hope for, is that the story the movie will tell, does justice to the comic that is based on. The Flashpoint! Explaining everything we are about to see is vital for keeping the audience’s attention. As time travel can get chaotic and confusing, leaving us with more questions than answers.
From the reviews what seems clear is that Bary Allen’s story is well fleshed out and is the focus for the entire movie, even though we can expect a lot of cameos and surprises. As we get closer to the release of the movies, we get closer to seeing if what our predictions and what the reviews say are true. The movie comes out June 16 and I can’t wait to watch it.
The Flash and ChriStories
Chris and Zach are huge fans and supporters of DC. We will soon have a Article about our hopes for the new DCU. As well as how we envision the DCU to be and what direction it will take. We will for sure watch the Flash on its Premiere! As we have heard that the movie has some vital informations and reveals. We would not like to get spoiled accidentally.
Until, then have a happy day my friends!
